  • Do you support both iOS and Android devices?

    Yes we do! In fact, on the URL version we support every type of smart phone and tablet as long as it has a modern web browser. For downloadable apps we support the Apple and Google Play stores.

    How much data does your online app consume?

    No more than a standard webpage. If you clear your browser's history / cache, it will remove any images or content stored, thus freeing up space if needed.

    My device doesn't support Flash - is that a problem?

    That is not a problem. The mobile / tablet version is an HTML-based map.

    What is the turn-around time on getting an app into the store

    In general, we have experienced 3 to 8 day turn-arounds on review and approval from Apple and Google. We can't guarantee a timeline due to Apple's review process, but we can ensure from the time we have all of your materials necessary to build the app, we can have it submitted to the store for review within 48 hours or less.

Mobile links for 3rd parties

We've updated our mobile platform to allow individual sections to be included directly into 3rd party apps without also including the native menus and navigation.  Meaning you can now include your exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, schedule, or floorplan content from our app into a 3rd party app without duplicating navigation or causing conflicts with the 3rd party app.

You can find the direct links for embedding into the Mobile Settings editor under the Show Setup and Settings tab in the admin.

We've created a new multiple-event app that allows our clients to purchase an app once that will contain all past, present, and future events on the Map D system.
